St Paul’s Nursery was started by the church and retains very close links with St Paul’s. We welcome children of all denominations and beliefs. The school is held in the community centre and has two well equipped classrooms, a large hall and outside play area.
The nursery school has services in the church at Easter, Harvest and Christmas to which we invite all the children and their families. The school encourages a warm and caring atmosphere in a Christian environment.
Each child and family has the support of a personal key worker who keeps a record of the child’s development in partnership with the parents/carers.
The nursery school has places for children with special needs. Our SENCO’s (Special Needs Co-ordinators) work closely with the Early years Inclusion Co-ordinators at the Education Centre who advise on the provision of appropriate care.
Our aim is to:
Provide a community based group offering equality of opportunities for all children and families and to provide a secure and stimulating environment which will encourage the development and education of pre-school children.
The nursery sessions are:
Session times: 8.30 to 3.30pm daily.
